LyX ⇒ Lyx Unable To Pull In Files and Compile

Hello- I'm a desktop support I.T. person that supports economists. One of my users has a macBook and wants to use Lyx. His Lyx on his MacBook Studio is working fine. On the MacBook I installed MikTek and MacTek/LaTex and Lyx.

When he tries to pull in files and compile he gets the followig error messages. Also the PDF viewer button is grayed out.

Any help would be much appreciated. I have been googling. Also whats frustrating is that its working fine on the Mac Studio

Welcome to the forum!

I have a Mac and use MacTeX, but not Lyx... does this help: wiki.lyx.org/Mac/Mac ?
