LyX ⇒ Grammar check

I'm trying to find a way to use a grammar checker with LyX. I have found several possibilities but when I'm done with the editing when I return the copy to LyX I find that none of the formatting has survived.

Does anyone know how to or what program to use to grammar check in LyX?

Thanks for the idea. Actually, they got back to me this morning to tell me that language tool professional won't be able to deal with the problem, either.

The alternative is to find a way to convert a LyX document to another format which can be grammar checked, but I have yet to find a working way to do that. The formatting problem seems to be intense!
