\cite{} keeps on suggesting an entry of a .bib file after deleting the entry in the .bib file
Do you know how to make \cite to refresh the entries displayed from the .bib file?

welcome to the forum!
If you change the .bib file, you may run BibTeX again (or biblatex if you use that) and then compile your LaTeX document again.
